Break Dance Workshops and Classes

Have you always wanted to Break Dance but didn't know how?  Well now PMT Dance Studio offers Breakin' 101 and Advanced Beginner Break Dance  where students will be able to learn and focus on how to bboy year round!  Class sizes are smaller to provide personal instruction to each student.  Don't miss out on this unique opportunity. 

Moves and Dance Steps Covered:

Section 2.1- Breakin' 101 for Beginners -

Baby Swipes, Cee-Cee's, 7-step, 6-step, 5-step, 4-step, 3-step, 2-step, drops, Dolphin,   Up-Rocking and Top-Rocking, Knee Drop, Kip Up, Basic Handstand Freezes,  Threading, Baby Freeze,  Chair Freeze and Combinations.

Section 2.2- Advanced Beginner Break dance-

More Top Rocking, Windmill, Hand-glide, L-kick and other handstand freezes, Floor Freezes and combos, Advanced Footwork Combos,  Haloback,  One-Legged and Two-Legged Swipes, Coindrop and more.  Class also includes a review on moves covered in Sct 2.1.

Section 2.3- Fundamentals of Abstract Break Dance-

This class offers a different perspective on breakin', offering lessons on more unorthodox and abstract forms of breakin', such as threading, more common to the West Coast. 

**Note- Additional moves can be added at the request of the students. 

Break Dance Workshops:

(All of the following workshops consist of EIGHT 1.5 hour classes)

Section 2.1- Breakin' 101 for Beginners (8 weeks) - Monday 8:30 - 10:00pm ~ THIMMAIAH 

Section 2.2- Breakin' 201 for Advanced Beginners (8 weeks)- Thursday 6:30 - 7:30pm ~ THIMMAIAH

2010 Session Start Dates:

Breakin' 101 (Sct. 2.1):

May 3rd, July 5th, Sept 13th, November 8th

Breakin' 201 (Sct. 2.2):

May 2nd, July 8th, Sept 9th, November 11th

Workshop Price:

-FULL WORKSHOP: $100.00 Class Card for an entire workshop.

-SINGLE CLASS: $16.00 per class

Registration In Person:  You may register in person from 9:00 - 9:00pm (7 days a week).  Payment can be made with cash or credit card (Master Card and Visa only).

Registration is quick and easy!

Registration is not final until payment is made.  Students paying for the workshop in SINGLE CLASSES do not have to register beforehand.
