Mack was raised in Southern California and fell in love with dance at just 2 years old. At 18, Mack attended the University of Utah to study modern dance. During that time in Utah, Mack worked with world renowned choreographers such as Anouk van Dijk, Omar Carrum, and Darrell Moultrie; as well as company work with SALT Dance under Courtney Mazeika, Kathryn Flores, Rodrick George, and LajaMartin. Mack continues training in NYC, furthering improvisational and choreographic skills by studying with Sidra Bell, Kizuna Dance Company, and Mica Butnar.
Class Description
Floorwork explores ways to embrace the floor for all levels, beginner to experienced. We will break things down from ground zero to allow each dancer to find their own strengths. A safe space to learn new movements and improve on what you already know.
Basic Contemporary is a class for people who would like to learn the fundamentals of contemporary dance including vocabulary, weight shifting, and storytelling. A slower paced class for new and experienced dancers to play, learn new ideas, and connect. A safe space to focus on the basic understanding of dance through phrase work, improv and floorwork.
