Thanks to the contributions toward our Pay It Forward Program, classes are now Donation Optional!
-
Recommended Donations: $5, $10 or $15.
Why We Need Your Support:
-
Arts Facilities, including dance studios, are not eligible for most of the Financial Assistance available to others.
-
Artists are finding it equally as hard to find help. Some of our artists are facing hardships finding food and a place to live.
-
Your donations support our artists, other students who are struggling and the business that houses all of this.

TERMS
When enrolling, you are agreeing to these terms. Please read them carefully before enrolling.
-
All purchases are non-refundable unless the class is canceled by PMT House of Dance. Once an intensive begins OR the intensive is full, enrollment fees are non-transferable. Otherwise, a credit can be issued for future use if the customer cancels their enrollment at least 24 hours prior to the start of the workshop.
-
Number of classes: Over the course of the workshop, classes may be canceled due to holidays or unforeseen events. A minimum of 12 class hours are guaranteed. However, workshops often far exceed this minimum. The enrollment fee is good toward one intensive/workshop, only.
-
Scheduling: Classes are scheduled as stated herein. If a teacher needs to reschedule a class/session or add extra sessions, they will do that in conjunction with the students. Prior to enrolling, students must be able to perform in ANY of the potential performance dates.
-
Number of performances: Students are entitled to 2 shows - performance is mandatory. Show assignments will be given after your intensive has begun. Participation in the workshop is contingent on your ability to perform. Please consult your teacher(s) and notify us if you have any scheduling issues or conflicts with either show day. Once assignments are given, they cannot be changed.
-
Video Shoot: This is optional for students and comes at no additional cost. All those participating in the shoot must sign a waiver that will permit this footage to be posted and distributed by other performers, PMT House of Dance and the choreographer. The footage shall be made available within 30 days of the shoot. If there is a delay, updates will be given on when to expect the video. The footage will be given at no cost.
-
Dress Rehearsal: This will take place throughout the day leading up to the shows. Please keep the show day completely open.
-
Missed or lost classes cannot be redeemed, exchanged or refunded. It is the student's responsibility to attend classes and make arrangements to make up missed material.
-
The teacher reserves the right to expel a student from a workshop if they do not meet the rules of etiquette, level expectation or attendance requirements set forth by the teacher or by PMT House of Dance.
-
Stage performance is mandatory. Video shoot is optional.
-
Students will be allowed to enter class only after their registration is completed and their workshop(s) is paid for completely.
-
LEVEL PLACEMENT
The first day of the workshop will act as a day to assess level placement in addition to a class day. Each teacher reserves the right to place students as they see fit. Pre-screening may take place if the teacher is able to view a student in a drop in class. Students are responsible for making sure they meet the level requirement of the class. We recommend students attend a drop in class of that teacher before enrolling in any intensive/workshop(s) to make sure they meet the level requirements. If a teacher requires extra rehearsals to meet the performance goal, you are obligated to meet that performance goal and any rehearsals deemed necessary by the teacher. If after the FIRST DAY the teacher (not the student) assesses that the student does not meet the level requirement for the performance workshop, you will be charged the pro-rated amount for a single class and CREDITED for the remaining difference. This credit may be applied to another workshop or any other purchase here at PMT and it does not expire. We strongly advise all students to make sure they meet the level requirement. 2.5-5 years, minimum experience, is recommended for any Adv. Beg., Intermediate or Advanced Performance Intensive. Drop in classes for most teachers are available to better assess your level. Please email with any additional questions.
-
All students will be asked to sign a waiver of liability. Students shall indemnify PMT House of Dance, their partners, teachers, staff, contracted workers and subsidiaries from any liabilities or loss, either physical, property, personal or otherwise. All students are attending rehearsals and performing at their own risk and in accordance with schedule provided to them by PMT House of Dance herein and/or via email correspondence or written material(s).
-
Student Responsibility: Students are entering into the endeavor with the full expectation to participate in all scheduled rehearsals and performances. Students are responsible for their own attendance and the full mastery of the material - regardless of common circumstances such as common illnesses (cold, stomach bug, etc.), travel issues/delays, etc. Any failure to meet this responsibility comes at the cost of the student. This process requires everyone to fulfill their responsibilities and work together the choreographer and other performers. Please be mindful of this.
