Criteria & Guidelines for Submitting Work
Since 2001, PMT has been a home for dance companies, choreographers and dancers of all levels to showcase their talents. They've used PMT as a platform to reach a greater audience and achieve a higher level of success - as indicated by the dozens of renowned performers who have graced our stage.
Please review the below information carefully before submitting your work. Submissions will be taken from 10/7/2024 - 11/1/2024.
Eligibility & Requirements:

Dance performance groups from all cultures and of all genres are welcome to submit work.

Performers must be 18 or older. Exemptions to the age requirement may be provided on a case by case basis.

Submission Period: All submissions must be provide between 10/7/2024 - 11/1/2024.

Piece cannot be longer than 10 minutes. Only one piece shall be submitted into the weekend's showcases.

All participants must submit this APPLICATION FORM. If you require assistance in doing due to accessibility needs, language assistance or another reason, please email us at pmthouseofdance@aol.com to arrange assistance. Hard copies are available at PMT House of Dance.

Pieces must be able to fit inside of our performances spaces, which are approximate 22x25'. A group's ability to safely perform in this size space will be considered as part of the evaluation process.

Must be available to tech and perform on 11/24/2024 at 8pm.

Due to space restrictions, tap dancing is not permitted.

Student Submissions are not eligible.
What you receive:

Opportunity to perform in a weekend festival of shows among peers and special guests.

Free video and photography of the performances.
-
Post show reception to both celebrate and network with industry professionals.

10 free hours of rehearsal space* and assistance obtaining additional discounted space.
*Up to 20 hours of free rehearsal space if performing in all shows on 11/24.
How it works:

Dance pieces submitted must be at least 1/3 complete. The submission must be what the applicant is performing/presenting.

All dances submitted shall be evaluate at once at the end of the submission period.

Dance submitted will be placed accordingly artist criteria with diversity/representation goals met. Each show will showcase a variety of genres from artists of different backgrounds as a principle of this endeavor.

Those who are submitted work will be contacted no later than 11/5/2024.
