Donation Optional!
-
Thanks to the contributions toward our Pay It Forward Program, classes are now Donation Optional!
-
Recommended Donations: $5, $10 or $15.
Why We Need Your Support:
-
Arts Facilities, including dance studios, are not eligible for most of the Financial Assistance available to others.
-
Artists are finding it equally as hard to find help. Some of our artists are facing hardships finding food and a place to live.
-
Your donations support our artists, other students who are struggling and the business that houses all of this.
Assistance Eligibility:
Have you been deeply affected by COVID-19 and financial assistance to take classes?

How to Sign Up for In Person Classes
Walk-ins are permitted but we cannot guarantee space in the class.
- Sign up online through our website or download Mindbody App (recommended).
- You MUST provide a valid name when creating your Mindbody account. Failure to do so shall result in restrictions on your account and no refunds shall be provided. This is to prevent an increase in fraud and identity theft.
You will not be permitted into class if you are more than 20 minutes late*, subject to teacher approval. If the class is full, your spot may be given to someone on the waitlist. Out of respect for the class, arrive on time.
Managing Waitlist:
-
A purchase of a class must be made to join a waitlist.
-
If you do not get into a class, you will be credited back to your (Mindbody) account. That credit will be available for future use.
-
All purchases are non-refundable. You will only be issued a credit for future use.
-
If you get in off of a waitlist, you will be automatically notified via email or a push notification via Mindbody app.
-
If you are no longer able to attend a class, please remove yourself from the waitlist. Students must manage their waitlist appointments. Otherwise, once you are entered into a class, you will be responsible for that class. Please consider this, and others who are also on the waitlist and looking to take class, when making your appointments.
Basic Policy:
-
Cancellation of a class registration must be made with at least 15 minutes notice. Once it is within 15 minutes, the student is responsible for the class and shall not be eligible for a refund or credit barring extenuating circumstances.
-
Members: If a member no-shows a class that is full, they will receive one warning. After this time, any no show to a full class will result in a one week suspension.
-
Waitlist Management: All students must still manage your waitlist appointments. Remove yourself from a waitlist when you are no longer able to attend a class. Since every student needs a different amount of notice, we ask each to student manage their appointments accordingly. The first 5 students on a waitlist may also show up and wait for admission into class on premises.
-
Walk Ons are permitted. Students may walk-on and sign up for a class, on the spot, assuming the class is not full.
-
Lateness Policy: A grace period of 20 minutes* is provided for late entry. After that, students will not be able to take class and will still be responsible for the class. For a full class, if a student is more than 5 minutes late, their spot shall be given to the next person on the waitlist if that person is waiting on premises. In this case, the class would be credited back to the student who lost their spot.
*Adv. Beg. Jazz with Michelle Barber on Thursday 4:30pm: A grace period of 10 minutes is provided for late entry. After that, students will not be able to take class and will still be responsible for the class. -
New Client Offers. These offers are applicable toward first time students or clients who are new to PMT and have not attended classes (of any kind) at PMT before. Purchases of New Client Offers shall not be honored if the student has previously attended classes at PMT and the purchase price shall be credit to the student for use toward other purchases. There are NO refunds.
-
Understanding Class Card Expiration Dates: Class cards are valid for a specific length of time (ie - 6 months). This time accounts for common life events such as travel issues, work events, travel plans, common life events, common illnesses (including COVID-19), etc. The customer has this period of time to use up the classes on that class card. The number of weeks provided to use a promotional package or class card exceeds the number of classes you must use for this reason. Class cards cannot be extended for occasional substitutes or common life events.
-
Promotional Value vs. Purchase Value. When you purchase a class card, intro offer or any promotional offer, the promotional value is valid only for the length of the term(s) of that purchase. For example, if you purchase a 5 class card which expires 3 months from the date of activation, then it's promotional value is 3 months. If you request to use your class card or promotional offer past its expiration date you may only be provided the purchase value. That is the value of what you paid for minus whatever number of singles classes you take. For example: if you purchase a 5 class card (at $90.00), but you were only able to use 4 classes before it expired, then you may be eligible to receive $14.00 in available credits (4 classes at single class rate of $19.00 = $76.00. $90.00 - $76.00 = $14.00). That credit would be good toward future purchases, only, and shall expired 3 months from the time it is issued. Requests to redeem the purchase value of an expired item must be received with 30 days of the item expiring. After that, it is at the discretion of management. Please note that reminders are sent to customers provided they opt into receiving emails on Mindbody.

Bikes & Scooters. These cannot be stored on premises at any time. They may only be stored on our floor is they are compactable/foldable and our management has given permission to do so. Leaving bikes and scooters in common areas violate fire code. Do not to do this.
We have a high demand for our in person classes as we continue to lead our community back to the dance floor. We want to be sure everyone can have the chance to enjoy this opportunity. To avoid issues, communicate with us.
All purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Policy on Contacting Teachers
In agreement with our faculty and staff, and in accordance with wellness and safety commitment, we cannot release the contact information of our arts workers. We cannot connect or facilitate a connection between student and teacher/staff member via any medium. Teachers are always available to connect with students during a class or on premises through the normal flow of interactions that occur between teacher and student on premises. However, teachers are not obligated to interact with students on their personal time.
